Throughout my career I have competed extensively on the Professional level.  Most recently, in the inaugural Senior Pro Competition at the Millennium in 2007, I finished second place in Argentine Tango.  I have competed extensively, and my students have done well, in Professional - Amateur competition.  For example, we have won our division at the United States Ballroom Dance Championships and the Ohio State Ball (seen every year on PBS) which is known as the Holiday Classic.

   At this time, I am the only certified judge, through gold, in all ballroom dance categories  (American, International and Theater Arts) in southwest Florida.

     I began my career in dancing 18 years ago at the Fred Astaire studio in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing initially on International Styling.  From that beginning, my studies have taken me to training locations within San Francisco, Michigan and finally here in Florida where my focus has been on American Styling.  I've been with the All American Dance Studio since 2006 where the quality of students and staff have made this a very pleasant experience.

     Throughout my career I have competed within Pro/Am and have performed in numerous showcase events.  In June 2007 I became certified in Bronze Theatrical Arts and am actively working towards certification in American and International Styling. 

     It has honored me to have the ability to help people transform their lives in such a positive manner through dance.
